General Hotel Policies

1. Check-in/Check-out Policies

Check-in and Check-out Times:
   - Standard check-in time is from 2:00 PM onwards.
   - Standard check-out time is by 12:00 PM.

Early Check-in and Late Check-out Fees:
   - Early check-in requests are subject to availability and may incur an additional fee. Please contact the front desk in advance to check availability and associated costs.
   - Late check-out requests are also subject to availability and will result an additional fee of 50% of room rate if check-out lateness is within 12PM and 4PM and 100% of room rate if check-out lateness is after 4PM. 

Identification Requirements:
   - All guests must present a valid government-issued photo ID at check-in.
   - International guests are required to present a valid passport.

2. Reservation Policies

Booking Confirmation and Payment Terms:
   - A valid credit card or full cash deposit is required to guarantee your reservation.
   - Full payment for the stay is required at check-in unless otherwise specified in your booking terms.

Cancellation and Refund Policies:
   - For single rooms: All cancellation are subject to charges equivalent to 20% of the room rate reserved by the guest plus tax. Cancellation will no longer be acceptable within 24 hours of the proposed check in date. No shows will also be charged in full.
   - For block bookings (5 rooms & above). All cancellation are subject to charges equivalent to 20% of the room rate. Cancellation will not be accepted after any time less than 48 hrs to proposed check in date.

   - All refund requests shall be made by the guests in person or via call or via e-mail to the reservation officer. A completed refund voucher will be treated by our accounts department after authorization by management. The refund process will be completed within ten (10) working days from the initiation date.

No-show Policies:
   - Reservations will be held until midnight on the day of arrival unless otherwise specified.
   - If you do not check in by midnight and have not notified the hotel of a late arrival, your reservation may be canceled and a no-show fee equivalent to one night's stay will be charged.

3. Guest Conduct Policies

Behavior and Noise Control:
   - Guests are expected to behave in a manner that respects the comfort and safety of other guests and staff.
   - Excessive noise or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated and may result in eviction without refund.

   - Not more than two people are allowed in a room.

   - Food and drinks from outside the hotel are not allowed in the premises.
   - Damages of hotel properties will attract 100% charges of damaged property. All properties in the room are hotel property, and should NOT be taken away, anyone found in possession of the hotel property upon checkout or exit from the hotel is liable to a fine of ₦50,000.

Pet Policies:
   - Pets are not allowed in the hotel, with the exception of service animals with proper documentation.

Smoking Policies:
   - Joker Hotel and Suites is a non-smoking property. Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and public areas. Designated smoking areas are available outside the hotel.
   - An outright check-out without refund and a fee of  â‚¦100,000 will be charged to guests who violate the smoking policy.

 

4. Privacy Policies

Data Collection and Usage:
   - Personal information collected during the booking and check-in process is used solely for the purposes of your stay and to enhance your experience at the hotel.

Confidentiality:
   - We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal information. This information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to process your reservation or as required by law.

   - The hotel employs appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

 

5. Safety and Security Policies

Emergency Procedures:
   - In case of an emergency, please follow the instructions provided by hotel staff and emergency response personnel.
   - Emergency exits are clearly marked and evacuation plans are posted in all rooms and public areas.

Guest and Staff Safety Protocols:
   - The safety and well-being of our guests and staff are our top priorities. The hotel follows strict safety protocols, including regular staff training and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Surveillance and Monitoring Policies:
   - For the safety and security of our guests and staff, the hotel is equipped with surveillance cameras in public areas. These cameras are monitored by our security team to ensure a safe environment.

Supermarket Policies

1. Shopping Policies

Hours of Operation:
   - The supermarket is open daily from 24/7.

Return and Exchange Policies:
   - Items cannot be returned or exchanged after purchase even with a valid receipt.
   - Perishable goods and personal care items are non-returnable.

Payment Methods Accepted:
   - We accept cash, credit cards, and mobile payment options.

   - Shoplifting is strictly prohibited. Security cameras are in operation, and offenders will be prosecuted.
   - Bags and personal belongings may be checked at the entrance for security purposes.

Unisex Salon Policies

1. Appointment Policies

Booking and Cancellation Terms:
   - Appointments can be booked online, by phone, or in person.
   - Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee. Communicate with front desk for more information.

Late Arrival and No-show Policies:
   - Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may need to reschedule their appointment.
   - No-shows will be charged 50% of the service fee.

 

2. Service Policies

Service Guarantees and Refund Policies:
   - We guarantee the quality of our services. If you are not satisfied, please inform us immediately.
   - Refunds are issued at the discretion of management and only if the service was not provided as agreed.

Hygiene Standards and Equipment Sterilization:
   - All equipment is sterilized after each use to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
   - Staff follow strict hygiene protocols, including hand washing and wearing gloves and masks.

 

3. Client Conduct Policies

   - Clients are expected to treat staff and other clients with respect and courtesy.
   - Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

Personal Belongings and Liability:
   - Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. The salon is not liable for any lost or damaged items.

Lounge Policies

1. Reservation and Entry Policies

Table Reservation Terms:
   - Reservations can be made online, by phone, or in person.
   - A reservation deposit may be required, refundable if canceled 24 hours in advance.
   - Reserved tables will be held for 30 minutes after the reserved time; after that, they may be released to other guests.

Entry Requirements and Age Restrictions:
   - Guests must be 18 years or older to enter the lounge.
   - Valid ID may be required for age verification.
   - Dress code: Smart casual. No athletic wear or flip-flops.

 

2. Food and Beverage Policies

Minimum Spend Requirements:
   - Certain tables or events may have a minimum spend requirement. Please check at the time of reservation.

Outside Food and Drink Restrictions:
   - Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the lounge.
   - All food and drinks must be purchased from the lounge menu.

 

3. Conduct and Noise Policies

   - Guests are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other patrons.
   - Disruptive behavior, including excessive noise or aggression, will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises.

Music and Entertainment Guidelines:
   - The lounge provides music and entertainment for the enjoyment of all guests. Personal music devices or loud conversations that disturb other guests are not permitted.
   - Special events and live entertainment will follow specific schedules and noise regulations.

Restaurant Policies

1. Reservation and Seating Policies
Booking Requirements:

Reservations are recommended and can be made online, by phone, or in person.
Reservation confirmations will be sent via email or SMS.
Walk-in Seating Availability:

Walk-in guests are welcome and will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis.
During peak hours, there may be a waiting period for walk-in seating.


2. Menu and Service Policies
Special Dietary Requests:

The restaurant accommodates special dietary requests, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-specific needs. Please inform your server or mention your requirements when making a reservation.

Service Charges and Tipping Policies:

A service charge of 10% will be added to the bill for parties of six or more.
Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory. Additional gratuity can be added at the guest’s discretion.

Swimming Pool Policies

1. Usage Policies

Pool Hours and Access:
   - The swimming pool is open daily from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
   - Access to the pool is restricted to hotel guests and registered visitors.

Age and Supervision Requirements:
   - Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
   - Lifeguards are on duty during pool hours, but parental supervision is required for children.

   - A maximum of three people are allowed during the photo shoot: the photographer, a lighting assistant, and one other person.

   - The hotel is not liable for any injuries or accidents that occur during the photo shoot.

Laundry Policies

   - Laundry services include washing, drying, and folding of garments.
   - Dry-cleaning services cater to delicate and special fabric items.

   - Standard turnaround time for laundry is 24 hours.
   - Express services are available upon request with additional charges.
   - Special requests such as stain removal or garment pressing can be accommodated.

 

2. Pricing and Payment Policies

   - Laundry prices are based on garment type and size.
   - Dry-cleaning prices vary depending on the fabric and item complexity.

Payment Methods Accepted:

3. Damage and Loss Policies

   - In case of lost or damaged items due to negligence, the hotel will compensate up to a maximum amount based on the item’s value and condition.

Hall Policies
